About Patrick

Patrick is not what you would think of when you think of your average baker.  He did not go to culinary school to make pies and it was not his lifelong goal to be know for his famous sweet potato pies.  Patrick was working in loss prevention in Stockton and making the white sweet potato pies for family and friends at potlucks and holiday get togethers.  He never dreamed that he would be able to make a living at doing something that he loved so much, until his friends and family encouraged him to turn his passion into his career.With a little push from his mother-in-law, Patrick took the plunge and secured a business license for Patrick's Famous Pies.  He started with his old family recipe that he has learned from his mother as he grew up and tweaked it a bit to get the recipe he uses today.  Patrick started making pies in every spare moment for some extra cash until the business grew enough that he makes pies full-time for his loyal following.
